Rebud KPR Ostrovia to face Istanbul Gençlik in EHF European Cup

Rebud KPR Ostrovia is set to face Turkish Super League side Istanbul Gençlik in the first leg of the second round of the EHF European Cup. The match will take place this Saturday at 18:00 in the Ostrow Arena.

Istanbul Gençlik advanced to this stage after defeating a Lithuanian team from Vilnius in the first round. Jakub Kaszuba, president of the Ostrovia club, expressed excitement regarding the competition, noting that the EHF Cup offers a different format than the EHF European League they participated in last year. The tie follows a home-and-away format, with the return leg scheduled to take place in Istanbul one week later.
