Recanatese defeats Maceratese in Coppa Italia penalty shootout

Recanatese defeated Maceratese in a Coppa Italia preliminary round derby held at the Helvia Recina Pino Brizi stadium. Following a competitive match played under heavy rain, the contest was decided by an extensive penalty shootout, with Recanatese ultimately prevailing 9-8.
