Recanati: Rina Gigli Prize gala moves to Teatro Persiani

The Gala della Lirica for the Rina Gigli International Prize has been moved to the Teatro Persiani in Recanati due to forecasted bad weather. Originally scheduled to take place outdoors in the Cortile di Palazzo Venieri, the event will now be held indoors to ensure audience safety and comfort.

The 2026 Rina Gigli Prize will be awarded to soprano Francesca Paoletti. A graduate of the Florence Conservatory, Paoletti has gained recognition for her roles in productions such as Turandot and Macbeth. She is scheduled to perform celebrated arias from the global repertoire during the gala, accompanied by pianist Lorenzo Bavaj.
