Recco festivities: Six extra trains scheduled for September 7-8

The Liguria Region, in collaboration with Trenitalia and RFI, has scheduled six extraordinary trains to support the festivities of Nostra Signora del Suffragio and the traditional Recco fireworks on September 7 and 8.

At the request of the Municipality of Recco, these additional services aim to facilitate movement for citizens and visitors, providing a safer alternative to car travel. The schedule includes several late-night and early-morning connections to assist with returns from the event.

On the night of September 7-8, additional connections include Recco-Savona and Genova Brignole-La Spezia Centrale. On the night of September 8-9, services will include Sarzana-Recco, Recco-Sarzana, La Spezia Centrale-Genova Brignole, and Recco-Savona. Regional Transport Councilor Marco Scajola stated that the intervention is a concrete measure to manage the highly attended event and simplify travel.
