Receita Federal advances planning for new public service exam

The Brazilian Federal Revenue Service (Receita Federal) has advanced the planning stages for its upcoming public service examination. A specialized Planning Team has been established via an internal ordinance to prepare the necessary documentation for selecting an organizing committee through a bidding process.

The team is tasked with conducting preliminary technical studies, managing risks, and drafting the terms of reference required to hire the exam provider. This follows the authorization of the contest by the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services in early July.

The recruitment process aims to fill 146 permanent positions for higher education roles. Expected salaries include approximately R$ 24,113.71 for tax auditors and R$ 13,927.99 for tax analysts. The official notice (edital) is projected to be published by January 3, 2027, with examinations expected to take place two months after its release.
