Receita Federal authorizes 146 new civil service vacancies

The Brazilian Federal Revenue Service (Receita Federal) has authorized a new civil service examination to fill 146 high-level positions. The vacancies include 116 roles for Tax Analysts and 30 for Tax Auditors, with salaries reaching approximately R$ 24,100 when including benefits.

The agency is currently in the process of selecting an organizing body to manage the exam. The official notice (edital) must be published by January 2027. Based on previous examinations, key subjects include Portuguese, Data Fluency, Tax Law, and Customs Legislation.

In a related development, the Federal Highway Police (PRF) is awaiting government authorization for two new examinations that could provide 533 vacancies. A recent judicial decision has also impacted the PRF by revoking extensions for the validity of its 2021 recruitment process.
