Receita Federal to auction seized goods in Salvador

The Receita Federal will hold an electronic auction in Salvador on Friday, August 21, featuring 52 lots of seized or abandoned goods. The items for sale include a catamaran sailboat, a used van, a truck, and a trailer, as well as electronics, mobile phone accessories, beverages, evaporative coolers, and a surgical ablation device.

Proposals can be submitted from Monday, August 17, until 6:00 PM on Thursday, August 20. The bidding session is scheduled to begin at 11:00 AM Brasília time on Friday. Participation is conducted exclusively through the Receita Federal Electronic Auction System via the e-CAC portal, requiring a Gov.br account with Silver or Gold reliability levels.

Some lots are available to individuals, while others are restricted to legal entities. Winners will have 30 days to collect their items following adjudication. While most lots are subject to ICMS tax, the van, trailer, and truck are exempt. The agency warned against scams involving fake live streams of auctions and reminded participants that payments must be made via the official Darf document.
