Reckitt appoints Ujunwa Chukwumah as West Africa General Manager

Reckitt has appointed Ujunwa Chukwumah as General Manager for West Africa, effective September 15, 2026. Chukwumah is the first Nigerian woman to lead the company’s West African operations.

With nearly two decades of experience in the fast-moving consumer goods sector, Chukwumah joins Reckitt from Diageo, where she most recently served as Commercial Director for West and Central Africa. Her professional background also includes leadership roles at Procter & Gamble.

In her new capacity, Chukwumah will oversee Reckitt’s business performance, commercial strategy, and sustainable growth across the region. Her mandate includes strengthening organizational capabilities, developing talent, and adapting brands to meet evolving consumer needs in West African markets.
