Recollection releases “Turntable” single ahead of Intrusive Thoughts EP

American hardcore‑indie band Recollection has issued the single “Turntable,” the second track from their forthcoming four‑song EP Intrusive Thoughts. The song explores how a familiar tune can trigger vivid memories, with vocalist Josh Hynes describing the experience of being pulled back to a summer in Manchester when a song by Vanilla Muffins plays.

The EP, produced and mixed by Taylor Young with additional tracking by Eric Sauter, is scheduled for release on August 28 through the DAZE label. Recollection will support Koyo on three free shows in the Northeastern United States in late August before joining Death Before Dishonor in New Hampshire in September.
