Record Store Day announces Black Friday 2026 release lineup

Record Store Day has announced its Black Friday release lineup for November 27, 2026. The event, designed to support independent music retailers, will feature a wide array of limited-edition vinyl, CDs, and special pressings.

Major highlights include live recordings and archival releases from legendary artists. Bruce Springsteen will release ‘Live at Tower Theater Philly 1975’, while George Harrison’s solo albums ‘Thirty Three & 1/3’ and ‘George Harrison’ will arrive in Zoetrope vinyl format. Other notable artists with upcoming releases include Prince, Joni Mitchell, Billy Joel, the Grateful Dead, and Motörhead.

The 2026 list also features contemporary artists such as KATSEYE, Joji, Noah Kahan, and Carly Rae Jepsen. Organizers noted that this Black Friday edition is intentionally more intimate and curated than the massive annual main event, focusing on providing meaningful items for collectors and driving traffic to local businesses.
