Record TV Turkish soap opera Iludida faces viewership fluctuations
The Turkish soap opera “Iludida” is experiencing viewership fluctuations during its prime-time slot on Record TV. After two months on air, the production has accumulated a general average of 5.26 points. While this performance maintains the channel's second-place position in its time slot—outperforming SBT's “Amor Valente”—it represents a 7.79% decline compared to the previous Turkish production, “Coração de Mãe”.
Analysts suggest the decline may be linked to an audience exodus following the conclusion of “Jornal Da Record”. The network's decision not to air foreign soap operas in continuous sequence since 2017 is also cited as a factor affecting audience habits.
In recent plot developments, the series has focused on family scandals, including the exposure of a secret regarding Haluk having another child, and attempts by characters like Gonul to repair the Goclu family's reputation through media reports.
