Recovery and Resilience Plan disbursements exceed 14 billion euros

The Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR) has disbursed over 14 billion euros to beneficiaries as of Wednesday. In the last week alone, 210 million euros were paid out. This total represents 63% of the contracted value and 64% of the approved amount, with execution currently at 75% as the final deadline approaches in approximately two weeks.

Major recipients of the funds include companies (5.006 billion euros), public entities (2.821 billion euros), and municipalities and metropolitan areas (2.224 billion euros). Other beneficiaries include schools, higher education institutions, social economy institutions, scientific and technological systems, and families.

Project approvals have reached 24.824 billion euros. Companies lead these approvals with 8.8 billion euros, followed by public entities and municipalities. To date, the PRR has received 537,324 applications, with 401,837 applications approved.
