Recreativo de Huelva to face Atlético Onubense in final preseason test
Recreativo de Huelva will conclude its preseason training with a friendly match against its reserve team, Atlético Onubense, on August 26. The match is scheduled for the morning and will be held behind closed doors at field number 3 of the Ciudad Deportiva Francisco Mendoza.
The decision to play on artificial turf is a strategic move by head coach Jesús Galván to prepare the squad for their upcoming league opener against Club Atlético Central at the Ciudad de Alcalá stadium, which also features a synthetic surface. This match serves as a final tactical and physical assessment before the team begins its campaign in Group IV of Segunda RFEF.
For Atlético Onubense, managed by Jesús Ortiz, the match against the first team will require adjustments to their existing preseason schedule, which includes upcoming fixtures against Isla Cristina and CD Moguer. The reserve team is set to compete in Group X of Tercera RFEF.
