Recreativo de Huelva triumphs 3-1 in Memorial Manuel González Rodríguez

Recreativo de Huelva won the XL edition of the Memorial Manuel González Rodríguez in Punta Umbría, beating Dos Hermanas 3–1. The pre‑season fixture, played after the club's appearance at the Trofeo Colombino, saw coach Jesús Galván rotate two largely different line‑ups and secure the victory in the second half.

Goals came from debutant Hugo López, who scored with his first touch, followed by Ale Marín and Roni. Dos Hermanas managed a single reply before the Decano closed out the match.

The win marked Recreativo's first pre‑season success of the summer, with several young talents featuring, including Hugo López and Alberto Vela, and goalkeeper Fernando Padilla on trial.
