Red Art Games announces Joe & Mac Retro Collection
Red Art Games has announced the Joe & Mac Retro Collection, a compilation of three classic titles originally developed by Data East for the Super Nintendo between 1991 and 1995. The collection includes Joe & Mac: Caveman Ninja, Congo’s Caper, and Joe & Mac 2: Lost in the Tropics.
The digital release is scheduled for October 29, 2026, for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Physical editions, including Standard, Deluxe, and Rock editions, are planned for Nintendo Switch in early 2027.
New features for the collection include a Boss Rush Mode, save states, a rewind function, customizable aspect ratios, and an optional CRT filter. The compilation will also offer both the original Western versions and the uncensored Japanese versions of the games.
