Red Bull 64 Bars Live debuts in Taranto with sold-out rap event

The fifth edition of Red Bull 64 Bars Live made its debut in Taranto, Italy, performing in the Paolo VI neighborhood within the Case Bianche complex. The event, which was sold out, aimed to bring rap music out of traditional concert venues and into urban spaces that reflect the identity of the local territory.

The performance featured prominent voices from the Italian rap and urban scene, including Kid Yugi and Sayf. During the event, Kid Yugi invited Fido Guido to the stage to perform the song ‘Ilva (Fume Scure)’, a moment that resonated with the local context of the neighborhood, which sits near the massive Ilva steelworks.

This installment follows previous editions of the series held in Scampia, Naples, and Corviale, Rome. The production utilized the urban landscape, turning balconies into scenic backdrops and garages into stage entrances, with the show also being broadcast via the Red Bull Droppa YouTube channel.
