Remco Evenepoel wins fourth consecutive world time trial title

At the UCI Road World Championships in Montreal, Remco Evenepoel made history by winning his fourth consecutive men's elite time trial title. The Belgian rider finished with a time of 44:53, equalling the record held by Tony Martin and Fabian Cancellara. Filippo Ganna of Italy took second place, approximately 57 seconds behind Evenepoel, while Paul Seixas of France secured the bronze medal.

In the women's elite time trial, Marlen Reusser successfully defended her world title. Reusser finished the course in 50:24.44, ahead of silver medalist Zoe Backstedt of Great Britain and bronze medalist Franziska Koch of Germany.

In the men's under-23 category, Ryan Gal of the Netherlands claimed the gold medal. Italian rider Nicolas Milesi earned the silver medal, finishing just 7 seconds behind Gal, while Hector Alvarez of Spain took third place. In the women's under-23 event, Felicity Wilson-Haffenden won gold, followed by Nienke Vinke in second and Luca Vierstraete in third.
