Red Bull Flugtag returns to Istanbul's Caddebostan Coast

Red Bull Flugtag returns to Istanbul’s Caddebostan Coast after a four-year hiatus. Under the theme ‘Flight is Free,’ 30 selected teams out of approximately 8,000 applicants will compete using human-powered flying machines designed by the participants.

Judging criteria extend beyond flight distance to include creativity in design, team performance, and stage shows. The jury features prominent figures, including motorcycle racer Toprak Razgatlıoğlu, Deniz Öncü, Bahattin Sofuoğlu, and various content creators and athletes.

The event will include musical performances by the band Radikal and rapper Yung Ouzo, as well as special demonstrations such as a ‘Jet Suit’ show by Issa Kalfon. For those unable to attend in person, the event is available for viewing via Red Bull TV.
