Red Bull Hardline BC rescheduled to Friday due to weather

The Red Bull Hardline BC 2026 extreme mountain bike competition has been rescheduled due to adverse weather forecasts. Originally planned for Saturday, the final at Cypress Mountain in British Columbia, Canada, will now take place on Friday, October 16.

The event marks the first time the high-stakes downhill series has expanded to North America. Designed by Dan and Gee Atherton, the course features massive technical obstacles, including 27-meter jumps and significant drops, requiring specialized heavy-duty downhill bikes with 200mm suspension.

The updated schedule includes training sessions on Thursday, October 15, followed by qualifying that afternoon. The final is expected to run from 12:00 to 15:00 local time on Friday, provided weather conditions remain safe for competition.
