Red Bull KTM announces 2027 Motocross World Championship lineup
Red Bull KTM Factory Racing has finalized its rider roster for the 2027 FIM Motocross World Championship. The announcement includes significant moves in both the MXGP and MX2 classes.
In the premier MXGP class, Maxime Renaux will join Andrea Adamo. Renaux, a former MX2 world champion, moves to KTM after a ten-year tenure with Yamaha. The MXGP squad will be managed by Davide De Carli.
The MX2 category will see Janis Reisulis join 2025 champion Simon Längenfelder. Reisulis, who finished sixth in the 2026 championship standings, joins the team following Yamaha's withdrawal from the official MX2 program. Additionally, Valerio Lata will compete in MX2 under the De Carli KTM structure.
KTM also confirmed that the Van Venrooy team will serve as a factory-supported satellite team in MX2, fielding riders Karlis Reisulis and Byron Dennis. Marc de Reuver has been appointed as the official rider coach for Red Bull KTM.
