Jett Lawrence clinches double victory at Thunder Valley Pro Motocross

American rider Jett Lawrence dominated the third round of the 2026 AMA Pro Motocross Championship at Thunder Valley, Colorado, winning both 450MX motos and taking the overall win. His victories moved him to the championship lead with 138 points, eight ahead of Hunter Lawrence.

Belgian Lucas Coenen, making his Pro Motocross debut, qualified second and finished second overall in the 450 class, while his twin brother Sacha Coenen won the 250MX race. Nick Romano earned his first career podium, finishing third overall.

The event was marked by a controversial track surface and strict enforcement of edge‑marker penalties. Haiden Deegan, Hunter Lawrence and Jorge Prado each received position drops for crossing inside track markers, which shuffled the final standings and elevated Garrett Marchbanks to third place.

Riders commented on the challenging conditions: Lawrence said he felt “a lot better in Moto 2, with better lines and flow,” while Coenen described his debut as “amazing” and praised the team’s support.
