Red Bull launches Wings Cup esports tournament for EA SPORTS FC

Red Bull has announced the launch of the Red Bull Wings Cup, a new global esports tournament centered around EA SPORTS FC 27. The competition offers players two primary qualification paths: an Open League and a University League.

In Poland, the Open League will be played in Ultimate Team 1v1 mode on PlayStation, with qualifiers running from late September through mid-October. The national finals are scheduled to take place during the Poznań Game Arena on October 23 and 24, 2026. Content creator Damian ‘PLKD’ Kornienko will accompany the Polish winner to the global finals.

In Finland, the tournament will feature online qualifiers via PlayStation Tournaments and a campus tour visiting cities such as Helsinki, Tampere, and Turku. The top players from Finland will advance to a national final held at DreamHack in Sweden in November.

The ultimate winners of the global tournament will compete in the world finals in January 2027 at the Inter Miami CF stadium.
