Red Bull confirms Liam Lawson to replace Isack Hadjar at Monza

Red Bull Racing has confirmed that Liam Lawson will once again replace Isack Hadjar for the upcoming Italian Grand Prix at Monza. Hadjar is sidelined due to a wrist injury sustained during the summer break, and the team has opted for caution to ensure his full recovery rather than rushing his return.

Lawson, who recently secured a seventh-place finish at the Dutch Grand Prix, will partner Max Verstappen in the senior Red Bull car. This reshuffle also affects the Racing Bulls team, where Yuki Tsunoda will step in to fill the seat vacated by Lawson for a second consecutive weekend.

Lawson noted the significant technical differences between the Red Bull and Racing Bulls cars, describing the Red Bull as having impressive high-speed grip but a very different balance and steering feel. Meanwhile, Max Verstappen has expressed concerns regarding energy management at the high-speed Monza circuit, anticipating a challenging weekend for the drivers.
