Red Bull Racing: Failed Porsche deal and Oracle partnership expansion

Former Porsche Motorsport head Fritz Enzinger has provided new details regarding the collapsed 2022 agreement between Red Bull and Porsche to enter Formula 1. Enzinger revealed that a handshake deal had already been reached between Volkswagen Group CEO Oliver Blume and Red Bull co-founder Dietrich Mateschitz. The parties had intended to announce the partnership publicly at the Spielberg Grand Prix, but the announcement was delayed to clarify technical regulations regarding power units.

Despite the advanced stage of negotiations, Red Bull ultimately withdrew from the deal at the last moment.

In a separate development, Oracle Red Bull Racing has announced an extension and expansion of its partnership with Oracle. This collaboration has moved beyond traditional marketing into deep technological integration, including the development of the Red Bull Ford Powertrains hybrid unit in the cloud and the deployment of artificial intelligence agents on the garage wall during Grand Prix events to gain a competitive advantage.
