Red Bull Racing targets remaining F1 season wins despite technical struggles

Red Bull Racing technical director Pierre Waché has confirmed the team's commitment to securing race wins for the remainder of the Formula 1 season. Despite a challenging first half of the year, the team is executing a development plan through the end of the year to improve the RB22.

The team has faced several technical hurdles, including a narrow operating window, chronic balance issues, excessive weight, and power unit reliability concerns. Additionally, an early-season steering defect impacted driver sensitivity before being corrected. These factors have left Red Bull as the fourth fastest team on the grid, trailing Mercedes, Ferrari, and McLaren.

Waché noted that while technical regulations impose certain efficiency limitations, the team is focused on learning how development affects car characteristics and pace to return to the top of the podium.
