Red Bull targets Azerbaijan Grand Prix for Isack Hadjar's return

Red Bull has identified the Azerbaijan Grand Prix in Baku as the potential target for Isack Hadjar’s return to racing, provided he passes a simulator test. The French driver has missed three consecutive races due to a wrist injury sustained during a training session prior to the Dutch Grand Prix.

Team principal Laurent Mekies stated that the decision to keep Hadjar out of the Spanish Grand Prix was based on the driver not feeling ‘100 percent’. Mekies emphasized that the team is prioritizing Hadjar’s full recovery to avoid delaying his rehabilitation by forcing him onto a technical circuit while unfit.

The upcoming break before the Baku race will allow Hadjar time to evaluate his fitness through simulator sessions to ensure he is ready for the upcoming triple-header sequence.
