Red Bull Wings Cup launches EA Sports FC 27 tournament in Italy

The Red Bull Wings Cup, an international tournament dedicated to EA Sports FC 27, is launching in Italy. As one of 79 participating countries, Italy will compete to select a national champion to represent the country at the World Finals held at the Inter Miami CF Stadium in Miami.

The competition features two parallel tracks: the University League, reserved for Italian university students playing in Rush mode, and the Open League, available to all adult residents in Italy playing Ultimate Team 11vs11 on PlayStation Tournaments. Qualifications for the University League run from September 27 to October 18, while the Open League qualifications take place from September 28 to October 11.

The National Finals will be held on October 30 and 31 during Lucca Comics & Games 2026. The top eight players from the University League will receive direct access, while two additional finalists from the Open League will be selected on-site. All tournament phases will be played exclusively on PlayStation 5 with technical support from Sony Interactive Entertainment.
