Red Cat Holdings links Black Widow UAV to OBERON fires network as earnings outlook is cut
Red Cat Holdings, a U.S. maker of all‑domain drones, announced that it has completed integration of its Black Widow small unmanned aircraft system with C3A Solutions' OBERON‑enabled tactical fires network. The integration allows Black Widow to function as a forward ISR sensor, moving video and targeting data into connected fires workflows used by Army units at the tactical edge. Jason Gunter, Red Cat’s Vice President of Technology and Innovation, said the work supports the company’s vision of moving beyond standalone platforms. Dan Morgan, founder and CEO of C3A Solutions, highlighted the practical field‑ready capability for soldiers and commanders.
Separately, Northland Securities lowered its Q2 2026 earnings estimate for Red Cat to a loss of $0.21 per share, down from $0.19, and reiterated a full‑year consensus loss of $0.68 per share. The company reported a $15.47 million revenue for the most recent quarter, missing the $17.63 million consensus, and posted a loss of $0.22 per share. Analysts’ ratings range from strong‑buy to strong‑sell, with an average “Buy” recommendation and a $21.40 price target.
