Red Crescent Society conducts aid distribution and instructor training in Iran
The Red Crescent Society of Iran is conducting several regional initiatives focused on social support and emergency training. In Kerman Province, the ‘Armaghan-e Mehr’ project has distributed essential school supplies to 2,800 students across 15 underprivileged counties. The aid, valued at over 3.7 billion tomans, includes stationery sets, clothing, and footwear to assist families ahead of the new academic year.
Simultaneously, North Khorasan Province is hosting a regional training program for 300 instructors from six provinces, including Tehran, Mazandaran, Golestan, Semnan, and Razavi Khorasan. This program aims to enhance the operational skills and knowledge of emergency responders to improve public awareness and disaster preparedness.
