Red Cross collection in Colima raises nearly 1.5 million pesos

The Red Cross 2026 collection in the state of Colima raised nearly 1.5 million pesos. These funds are intended to strengthen the institution's ability to provide support and emergency services to those in need.

Viridiana Valencia Vargas, Secretary of Welfare, Inclusion, and Women, representing Governor Indira Vizcaíno Silva, recognized the generosity of the citizens of Colima. The fundraising effort was coordinated by the Colima State Government through the State DIF, involving various government institutions, unions, municipalities, universities, and the private sector.

Diana Zepeda Figueroa, head of the DIF, reaffirmed the administration's commitment to supporting causes that provide direct benefits to families in the region through cooperation between society and the government.
