Red Cross humanitarian aid distribution begins in Tivat and Subotica

Red Cross organizations in Tivat, Montenegro, and Subotica, Serbia, have launched food and hygiene kit distributions to support socially vulnerable citizens and families.

In Tivat, the municipal Red Cross organization aims to provide aid to 70 households by the end of October. This initiative coincides with the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty. The organization also plans to host the ‘Sailing for Good’ charity regatta on October 24 to further support these efforts.

In Subotica, the distribution began on October 16 to mark World Food Day. Supported by 8.1 million dinars from the city, the program provides 2,500 food packages containing staples such as beans, rice, flour, sugar, and canned goods, alongside 750 hygiene kits. The distribution is coordinated through the Subotica Center for Social Work and the local Red Cross, targeting individuals who rely on the city's public kitchen and other social services.
