Red Cross in Imperia reopens facilities after fire

The Red Cross headquarters in Imperia has officially reopened its garage and food warehouse following a major fire that occurred on November 12, 2025. The reconstruction of these strategic facilities was completed ten months later, funded primarily through donations from local citizens, organizations, and entities.

The reopened garage is designed to ensure the safety and readiness of emergency vehicles used by volunteers, while the food warehouse will support the distribution of provisions to vulnerable families and individuals. The inauguration was attended by regional and national Red Cross leadership, as well as local civil and military authorities.
