Red Dead Redemption 2 modder announces Undead Damnation prequel

A new fan-made mod titled ‘Undead Damnation’ is being developed for Red Dead Redemption 2, bringing zombies to the game's Wild West setting. Created by modder Rixus, the project serves as an unofficial prequel to the original Undead Nightmare expansion from the first Red Dead Redemption game.

A trailer released on YouTube showcases various locations from the game during dark, stormy nights, featuring packs of zombies roaming the countryside and the streets of Saint Denis. The footage depicts abandoned settlements where the only signs of life are the undead.

While specific gameplay details remain limited, the developer has confirmed that the free mod will include new missions, random encounters, areas to rescue, and cemeteries to clear.
