Red Deer hosts Central Alberta Dream Drive charity event

The second annual Central Alberta Dream Drive took place on September 12 at Westerner Park in Red Deer. The event featured approximately 85 luxury and exotic vehicles, allowing local children to serve as co-pilots during a parade through the city streets led by the RCMP.

Country music artist Brett Kissel served as the parade marshal and performed a private concert for sponsors and donors. The event included various family activities such as food trucks, face-painting, and bounce houses.

Proceeds from the drive benefit the Westerner Park Foundation to support the sustainability of the facility, as well as the Aspire Child Development Centre, which provides specialized programs for children and families.
