Red Hill Minerals launches diamond drilling at expanded Anabama copper‑gold project in South Australia
Red Hill Minerals Limited (ASX: RHI) has started a 1,200‑metre diamond drilling program at its expanded Anabama copper‑gold project in South Australia. The project, part of the Curnamona Earn‑In joint venture with Spectre Metals, aims to test a strong off‑hole conductor identified by downhole‑electromagnetic (DHEM) surveying. The first drillhole targets the conductor revealed in drillhole 25ANDD001, which previously intersected quartz‑carbonate veining with 0.6% copper, 0.2 g/t gold and 3.0 g/t silver over 20 m. A second hole follows an anomaly from a 20.4‑km induced‑polarisation (IP) survey. The inclusion of the adjacent Cronje Dam tenement now extends the prospective Anabama‑Redan shear zone to more than 25 km of strike length. Executive Chairman Joshua Pitt said the surveys suggest significant undiscovered mineralisation beneath the historic drill area. Both drillholes will be cased with PVC for further DHEM surveying and the two‑hole program is expected to be completed in late August.
