Red Hook Studios and Vault Comics announce Darkest Dungeon graphic novels

Red Hook Studios and Vault Comics have announced a new canonical graphic novel series based on the Darkest Dungeon video game franchise. The project aims to expand the game's lore and mythology by introducing new stories and mysteries.

The series will be written by John Lees and illustrated by Maan House. Both creators will work under the creative direction of Red Hook Studios co-founder and Darkest Dungeon creative director Chris Bourassa to ensure the books remain faithful to the established universe. Lees is recognized for horror titles such as ‘The Nasty’, while House has experience with video game adaptations, including ‘Dark Souls’.

The graphic novels will debut via a launch campaign on BackerKit, with pre-launch sign-ups currently available.
