Red Sea Governor and Youth Minister tour Shalateen and Marsa Hamira

The Governor of the Red Sea, Dr. Walid Abdel Azim El-Barqi, and the Minister of Youth and Sports, Gawhar Nabil, conducted a field tour in the southern cities and villages of the Red Sea Governorate, including Shalateen, Halaib, and the village of Marsa Hamira.

During the visit to Marsa Hamira, officials met with the tribal leader to discuss local needs and service improvements. The Governor emphasized the importance of direct communication with southern border communities to prioritize development and coordinate with relevant authorities to address citizen demands.

In Shalateen, the delegation inspected the Shalateen Youth Center to monitor facilities and programs. Minister Nabil highlighted the role of youth centers in border regions as essential tools for talent discovery and human development. The visit also included an awards ceremony for winners of cultural competitions held at the center.
