Red Star Belgrade bolsters squad with Luckassen signing as Bukari scores

Ghana internationals Derrick Luckassen and Osman Bukari have both made headlines for Red Star Belgrade. Luckassen completed a free transfer from Cypriot side Pafos FC on 24 July 2026, signing a three‑year contract and taking the number 32 shirt. He praised the club after speaking with fellow defender Ognjen Mimović, saying the conversation gave him “a really good feeling” about joining the Serbian champions.

A few weeks later, Bukari marked his return to the Serbian Super Liga by netting his first league goal in Red Star’s 3‑1 victory over FK Vojvodina. The 26‑year‑old winger opened the scoring after fifteen minutes and later added an assist in a Champions League qualifier. The win kept Red Star unbeaten at the start of the new domestic campaign.
