FK Vojvodina bolsters squad with multiple signings ahead of European push

FK Vojvodina announced a wave of new arrivals as it prepares for the upcoming season. Serbian forward Stefan Mitrović joined on loan from Italy's Verona, while midfielder Ifet Đakovac was signed permanently from Russian side Akron for a reported €1.2 million on a three‑year contract. The club also secured Bosnian players Hamza Redžić and Nardin Mulahusejnović, and is expected to finalise Mitrović’s paperwork before the week ends.

Club officials and the newcomers stressed ambitious objectives. Coach Miroslav Tanjga said Vojvodina will target both domestic trophies and a place in the group stage of a UEFA competition – either the Europa League or the Conference League. Đakovac stated, “We want to fight for the title and qualify for the group phase in Europe.” Mitrović expressed confidence that he will score for the “old ladies” and help the team achieve its European aspirations.
