Hajduk Split signs Bosnian defender Dennis Hadžikadunić
Hajduk Split has officially signed Bosnian international defender Dennis Hadžikadunić to a contract lasting until the summer of 2028. The 28-year-old center-back joins the club as a free agent following the expiration of his contract with the Russian club Rostov. Hadžikadunić brings extensive European experience, having previously played for clubs such as Malmö FF, Mallorca, Hamburger SV, and Sampdoria.
The signing is seen as a strategic move by manager Gonzalo Garcia to strengthen the defense ahead of Hajduk's upcoming Conference League play-off match against Raków. Former national team coach Faruk Hadžibegić praised the player, describing him as a defender of European profile with strong character and leadership qualities.
