Red Star set for Champions League qualifiers and new season launch

Red Star Belgrade learned that its next opponent in the UEFA Champions League qualifying round will be Larn from Northern Ireland. After Larn beat Tre Fiori in both legs, the Serbian champion will host the first leg at the Rajko Mitić Stadium in late July, with the return match scheduled for the following week.

The club also opened its domestic season with a SuperLiga match against Mačva and announced a new season‑ticket programme offering premium tickets for all home fixtures, including domestic league, cup and European games, at unchanged prices. Club officials, including sporting director Dejan Stanković, emphasized the importance of the preseason preparations in Serbia, Austria and a friendly in Saint‑Petersburg, and expressed confidence that the team is ready to compete for a place in the Champions League group stage.

Stanković and coach Dejan Stanković (sporting director) highlighted the squad’s health, the integration of young players, and the target of reaching the Champions League play‑offs, assuring supporters that there is no cause for concern.
