Red Velvet's Joy discusses career anxieties and acting plans

Red Velvet member Joy appeared on the KBS 2TV music talk show ‘The Seasons – Sung Si Kyung’s Ear Candy’ on September 11. During the broadcast, she discussed her personal anxieties regarding her career, aging, and beauty.

Joy reflected on the period two years ago when Red Velvet faced contract renewals, noting she felt anxious that the group might end. She expressed relief after confirming the members' commitment to the group, a sentiment she incorporated into her solo title track, ‘Hello’.

Regarding her personal life, Joy shared concerns about how public perception might change as she ages. She humorously remarked that after turning thirty, she feels ‘like I’m one year old again’. Additionally, she announced plans to expand her career into acting and animation dubbing under her real name, Park Soo Young.
