Red Velvet's Wendy sparks online debate over stage appearance

Red Velvet member Wendy has become the subject of intense online debate following the circulation of stage photos and videos. The controversy centers on her physical appearance in a black lace top and tight trousers, where her slim upper body and hip silhouette have drawn significant scrutiny from netizens.

Discussions on social media and online forums have split into several camps. Some users have questioned whether her silhouette is the result of clothing padding, while others suggest that stage lighting, camera angles, and garment tailoring created a visual illusion.

A significant portion of the conversation has shifted toward concerns regarding her health, with many fans expressing worry over her weight. However, the discourse has also included harsh criticism and body-shaming, with some commenters using derogatory comparisons to describe her physique. In response, other netizens have defended the singer, criticizing the public for scrutinizing her body and using appearance-based insults.
