Red Vigía Canarias enhances Seprona environmental training

The Red Vigía Canarias network has implemented new training for Seprona, the Nature Protection Service of the Civil Guard, to enhance environmental threat detection and monitoring in the Canary Islands.

Organized by the Directorate General of the Natural Environment, the training focused on three primary areas: standardized action protocols, the proper collection and shipment of biological samples, and the use of the Red Vigía Zapata digital platform. The initiative aims to provide agents with uniform criteria and operational tools to ensure rapid response and the correct preservation of environmental evidence and information gathered in the field.
