Reda Jaffal denies allegations over Matn real estate holdings

Engineer Reda Jaffal has issued a formal statement addressing allegations regarding his ownership of real estate in the Matn region of Lebanon. Jaffal, who has spent nearly three decades managing energy sector service companies in Nigeria, denied claims that his property acquisitions were linked to political parties, sanctioned individuals, or foreign entities.

Jaffal stated that his investments, primarily made between 2008 and 2014, were conducted for purely commercial purposes using his own funds through documented bank transfers. He further denied rumors concerning the existence of military installations, tunnels, or fiber optic extensions on his lands.

To resolve the controversy, Jaffal has invited the media and technical experts to inspect the properties and has called upon official Lebanese authorities, including the Lebanese Army and its intelligence directorate, to conduct formal investigations to verify the facts.
