Redcastle Resources and Native Mineral Resources boost Australian gold output

Redcastle Resources (ASX:RC1) is accelerating mining at its Redcastle Reef and Queen Alexandra gold deposits in Western Australia’s Eastern Goldfields. The company has begun ore stockpiling and near‑surface oxide mining, with both deposits only about 700 m apart, allowing shared infrastructure and equipment. Chairman Dr Ray Shaw said operations are expected to generate cash flow in the coming months, while the firm plans further exploration drilling in the TBone Belt later in 2026 and the Kilkenny Belt in early 2027.

Native Mineral Resources (ASX:NMR) reported record gold production at its Blackjack operations near Charters Towers, Queensland. In June 2026 the refinery produced 763.8 oz of fine gold, the highest monthly total since the plant’s recommissioning in July 2025, and plant recovery reached a new peak. The company has moved to a weekly gold‑smelting schedule, with larger smelts planned for July as higher‑grade material from three active pits enters the processing circuit.
