Rede do Agro expands collective purchasing for Minas Gerais producers

Rede do Agro, an initiative by the Instituto Antônio Ernesto de Salvo (Inaes) under the Sistema Faemg Senar, is expanding its collective purchasing program for rural producers in Minas Gerais. The program aims to reach 55 Rural Producer Unions and serve more than 950 producers, with a goal of moving R$ 10 million in purchases over the next 12 months.

By aggregating demand, the initiative seeks to increase negotiating power and reduce costs for inputs, equipment, and other products. The expansion will include the launch of a digital platform to strengthen connections between producers, unions, and suppliers. To date, the program has facilitated 137 purchases for 242 producers, resulting in an average savings of 11%. The project expects to generate approximately R$ 1.3 million in savings for producers by the end of the year.
