Rede Total Care leads Brazil in patient safety certifications

Rede Total Care has achieved the highest absolute number of hospitals certified by the 2026 Patient Safety Seal. The certification was awarded by Epimed Solutions in partnership with the Brazilian Institute for Patient Safety (IBSP).

The recognition covers hospital units and extra-hospital services across Brazil, including outpatient clinics, emergency care, home care, rescue services, and ophthalmology units. Notably, it is the only network in the country to have ophthalmology included in the seal.

Certification criteria involve incident management indicators, such as the percentage of correctly classified notifications, the average time for early identification of risk situations, and the speed of investigation conclusions. The process follows Anvisa's RDC nº 36/2013 guidelines and is monitored via the Epimed platform.
