REDMAGIC announces Astra 2 Gaming Tablet with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5

REDMAGIC has announced the upcoming global launch of the Astra 2 Gaming Tablet. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and the proprietary REDMAGIC RedCore R4 gaming chip, designed to manage in-game effects and 2K super-resolution.

Key hardware specifications include a 9.06-inch 2.4K OLED display featuring a 185Hz refresh rate, up to 1,600 nits of peak brightness, and a 90.1% screen-to-body ratio. The tablet is equipped with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. To manage heat, the device utilizes the AquaCore Cooling System 2.0, which incorporates liquid cooling technology with fluorinated coolant and Liquid Metal 3.0.
