REDMAGIC launches 12 Pro+ gaming smartphone in China
nubia's gaming brand, REDMAGIC, has announced the REDMAGIC 12 Pro+ in China. The device features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset and an 8,400mAh battery, supported by 120W wired and 80W wireless charging.
Key hardware upgrades include a 6.85-inch display with a refresh rate of up to 185Hz and a 16-megapixel under-display camera, which eliminates notches or punch holes. The phone utilizes a dual-loop cooling system combining an internal fan with liquid cooling. It also includes 700Hz sampling rate shoulder triggers for gaming.
The device runs on REDMAGIC OS 12, based on Android 17. New software features include ‘AI Magic Island’ for notifications and compatibility with Apple’s AirDrop for file transfers.
In China, the 12GB/256GB model is priced at 6,999 yuan. A global version is expected, though specific release dates for international markets remain unconfirmed.
